Lakewood, Ohio – The Winchester Music Club, one of the best independent clubs on the north coast played host to a night of music that delighted fans from near and far .The might metal gods of Gemini Syndrome brought the first leg of their “Initiation’ tour to the rock city and to say that it brought smiles and cheers of appreciation is an understatement . Gemini Syndrome is on tour in support of their current release ” 3rd Degree- The Raising ” and by sound of it , its going to be a hit!

Them Damn Kings

The night started with ” The Damn Kings ” and they brought their A game . The band is throw back of groove metal and some tuned down tones with powerful anthems and melodies . I really got into this band and I know you will too , check out the track ” Throw it Away ” which is available online ..

Pushing Veronica

Up next was ” Pushing Veronica ” a pop punk bank from the LA area. They were a young band but they drew and impressive crowd and really knew how to play off of an audience .

Ovtlier

Ovtlier ” booked the slot right before the headliner and to be honest at first I really was not into them, the stage lights were so abrasive it made it hard to focus on the music . After a bit the lights died down and I could watch and enjoy the musicianship and songwriting of this band . I think this band has a bright future and the second half of the set was full of some of the best material I have heard in a long time .

Ovtlier

Sound and fury mixed with emotions and theatrics the mighty” Gemini Syndrome ” pulled no punches in their return to the stage post pandemic and with that brought ovations from the crowd .The mysterious front man Aaron Nordstrom showed his appreciation to the crowd by thanking them for coming out on a week night and to be honest every night is a good night for kicks ass metal . On drums Brian Steele Medina showed he major percussion skills with one of the coolest sets I have ever seen .Long time bass player Alessandro Paveri proves not to judge a book by the cover as face art can be a little unnerving but his ability on the bass guitar and creative musical ability shows he might just be the modern equivalent to a music DaVinci. The twin guitars of Miguel “Meegs” Rascón and Nicholas Paul Arnold rounded out the band to complete a wall of sound . Some of the tracks played that night were Reintegration Absolution ,Basement,Eternity ,Pleasure and Pain ,Die With Me ,Baptized in Fire,IDK,Abandoned,Anonymous,Remember We Die , and more .
