In this video we see Quinn going thru the paces of classes and singing about the boy in her life . The next scene take places at a boxing gym to showcase the seriousness of the how tough love can be.The video then goes back and forth between the two sets The vocals of Quinn are thoughtful and the lyrics are provoking . I think this young lady is going to do well in the entertainment industry ( she is also an actress as well ) and we look forward to seeing more of her .

Ohio State Reformatory’s historic building and grounds provide a perfectly eerie setting for the INKCARCERATION Festival. The massive, awe-inspiring locale is recognized as not only one of the most haunted reformatories in the country, but also as the filming location for multiple Hollywood films. The most famous of these films is the 1994 cinematic classic and IMDB highest rated movie of all time, The Shawshank Redemption, starring Hollywood legends Morgan Freeman and Tim Robbins.
Once again, it will be Halloween in July at the INKCARCERATION Festival as Escape from Blood Prison makes an early appearance. The annual Halloween haunted house attraction typically runs from the end of September through early November at the Ohio State Reformatory, but this spooky experience will be open all weekend long for festival goers. Once Blood Prison takes over the reformatory, it is filled with bloodthirsty inmates waiting for victims to enter and try to make it through the facility alive.

Canadian Modern Heavy Metal Band DEMISE OF THE CROWN Releases First Single and Video from Debut Full-Length

Up and coming Canadian metal band DEMISE OF THE CROWN has released the first single, “My Mind Is Free,” the first single from the upcoming Life in the City album, scheduled for release on April 24.
“I wanted to show something special in this video,” says guitarist and bassist Simon D. “There’s this magical moment that happens when playing the first chord onstage or when the director calls for action during the shoot. It’s like the band is being summoned to play by some unknown force of nature, a kind of ritual that brings us together to generate music.”
From their 2015 debut EP to numerous area shows, the Montreal-based band has garnered a reputation for re-defining modern metal with a sound that is a melting pot of styles, including the occasional influences of death metal, components of hard rock, groovy riffs and catchy choruses alongside explosive guitar solos reminiscent of Eddie Van Halen, Yngwie Malmsteen and Dimebag Darrell. All this is topped off by singer Darren Beadman’s striking vocal techniques and unique tone, which have been likened to Warrel Dane, Sebastian Bach and Rob Halford. “My Mind Is Free,” with its broad-ranging sound, is a perfect introduction to DEMISE OF THE CROWN’s music.
“’My Mind Is Free’ is a dark and powerful song with an uplifting message of being able to overcome your demons in life before it’s too late,” says lead guitarist Manuel Iradian. “I’m extremely happy with Darren’s unique and colorful vocal performance here. It gives the song more character and, stylistically, this track has a lot to offer from middle eastern influences, hardcore breakdowns, big hooks, shredding face-melter leads and slow ballad parts.”

Live Review – Stitched Up Heart

Cleveland , Ohio – The cold and windy gusts blowing off Lake Erie last week were not a deterrent for the music fans that descended on The House of Blues for a night of great music . The band Stitched Up Heart returned to the north coast in support capacity for Steel Panther and it was a winning combo .

I had the opportunity to do an exclusive interview with singer Alecia ‘Mixi’ Demner which will be posted in a separate article , it is not to be missed .

DSC01914 copy.jpg SUH

The stage was dark and ominous at Stitched Up Heart took it over like a smooth military operation immediately kicking into high gear with the song ” This Thing ” and pleased fans and gained new ones in the mix .

The opening of ” Stranger Things Theme ” ( A TV show I adore ) really was a nice addition to the anticipation of the night as well . My favorite songs played were of course ” Warrior”  , ” Monster ” and ” Catch Me When I Fall”

The band has gone thru a few line up changes until the right mix of dedication , ability and personality emerged triumphant , Stitched Up Heart is

Live Review-Elton John Farewell Yellowbrick Road Tour

Cleveland, Ohio- A winter storm blew into the north coast but that in no way was  going to deter they sold out audience at Cleveland’s Rocket Mortgage Field House from tonight’s concert  .This being the final and farewell tour for Elton John this was a night that very few will ever forget . The popular singer is still riding high from this years biopic ” Rocketman ” of his life and this is the second leg of his tour and his last stop in Cleveland and the sold out crowd could not have been more thrilled .

IMG_7343 copy.jpg EJ

The night started off with Bennie and the Jets and continued for close to three hours . The iconic line from the Spinal Tap film  ” Hello Cleveland ” was of course produced but from Elton it really seamed genuine . Some of my favorite songs were ” Tiny Dancer ” , ” Daniel ” which brought a tear to my eye and of course ” Candle in the Wind ” for which made many a fan cry .

IMG_7352 copy.jpg EJ

Elton’s band were top notch musicians as well , each a skilled artist in their own right . I can understand why Elton will be retired from the road , he honestly moved a little stiff on stage but damn he is 72 and he moves better then I do so he deserves a whole lot of slack . He still rocked for almost three hours .

IMG_7126 copy.jpg EJ

If you are anywhere that he will be performing  on this final leg , run don’t walk and get a ticket you will want to say you say him when he was still on top of his game and ladies and gentleman , he commands the game .

IMG_7156 copy.jpg EJ

I can honestly say I was very glad to be part of this final tour and see him perform and as Elton says , love one another .
